2019 undrafted Division II corner back might be the replacement for Edelman, who replaced Welker.

2019 undrafted free agent Gunner Olszewski could play in all three phases. The Patriots were going to cut the young wideout but realized he would not make it to the practice squad. Gunner was pretty much invisible due to Tom Brady. Although, he did keep a 9 yard punt return average.

Gunner has done a lot to his physique to improve this season. The young gun looks like a totally new player and has been doing nothing but making highlight reel plays. Olszewski might end up being the new "seven eleven".

Doug Kyed wrote, "Despite facing such steep competition, Olszewski has looked like one of the Patriots’ best wide receivers this training camp. He was viewed as a longshot this offseason before outperforming players like Jakobi Meyers and Damiere Byrd in practices."

Another name Kyed could mention is Sanu. Sanu has been invisible this camp after posting Instagram videos of how much better in shape he was. Instead of Sanu, it's almost all Gunner, with flashes of Ross, Byrd, and Harry mixed in.

Defensive player of the year and the best corner in the NFL Stephon Gilmore had something to say about Olszewski.

Gilmore was quoted as saying, “He’s definitely gotten better. I think he’s gotten stronger, gotten quicker. The longer you’re in that offense the better, so he has definitely taken a step from last year. Competing against him, you know he’s going to go hard every snap. That’s one thing about him, he’s very fearless, he doesn’t care. That’s the way you have to be to be a good receiver in this league.”

Fearless, willing to throw your body on the line for the team. That is a critical part of being a Patriots slot receiver. We saw it with Wes Welker, We saw it with Amendola, We continue to see it with Edelman, and now it appears we're going to see it with Gunner Olszewski.

Everyone has been wondering who's gonna replace Edelman, well we may have our answer.
