Dak Prescott

So during Dak Prescott's 2nd year I was asked to rate him. I said I would need to wait until the end if his 3rd year. He's now played 4 seasons.

Dak puts up the passing yards and completions I wanna see. I want my top quarterbacks to throw for 30 touchdowns but no less than 25 on a down year. His Ints are a little high for my liking but doable. Finally I expected more from Dak on the ground. 

What truly sets my ranking is the fact that he has Zeke. I do have not seen enough of him when Zeke is not around. Add to that, the lack of post season play. Leader's rally their team. With that Dak is not a top 5 Quarterback. However Dak is a top 16 Quarterback. His exact ranking, I do not know. While he is not my first choice at quarterback, he would be on my list. Things should be interesting for Dak in 2020

Dallas Cowboys Sign Andy Dalton To 1-year Deal.

Adam Schefter reported Big Red signed with the Cowboys on Saturday. "Former Bengals’ QB Andy Dalton is signing a one-year deal worth up to $7 million that includes $3 million guaranteed with the Dallas Cowboys, source tells ESPN."

Dalton lives in Texas, so his work commute will be shorter in the fall. Which means he'll get to spend more time with family. 

Andrea Hangst of Clutch Point wrote that Dalton shouldn't effect the Prescott signing, and that Dalton was no more than an Insurance policy. 

Dalton however allows the Cowboys to trade Dak this year or even next year. Question is what will teams pay for Prescott? If the Cowboys are able to resign Dak, they could trade Dalton after the season before he officially becomes a free agent. 

This is an interesting story and one that should be paid attention to as the off season progresses.
