Jim Kelly vows Bills are ‘team to beat’ in AFC East

Jim Kelly, talking heads, Patriots Haters, Bandwagon Patriots fans, and others in the media are talking out their asses that the Buffalo Bills, who made the playoffs as a wild card team in 2019; will win the division.

The man who had no idea on how to lead a team to a superbowl victory, who lost a halftime lead in Minnesota to the five time superbowl champion Dallas Cowboys, spoke on the Zach Gleb show.

Kelly said “If they don’t, then something’s wrong. I mean, Tom Brady is not there to block you anymore. So that, to me, is huge, I think Tom of course is getting older, getting old, but he still can play. I tried to talk him into retirement like two, three years ago, but he just wouldn’t listen to me. I don’t know why. But now that Brady’s gone, I definitely do think the Bills are the team to beat, even though you look at the Jets, they’re getting better. Miami with Tua (Tagovailoa) coming in, I think they’re going to be better. And of course, (Bill) Belichick will have his team ready to play. So we’ll see what happens at the quarterback position in New England.”

Of course Belichick still have the team ready. He signed a plethora of defensive help out of the 2020 draft class. He also brought in a few offensive weapons and has too many healthy players returning in 2020.

Sure Buffalo signed Stefon Diggs. You know who the Patriots signed? The person responsible for holding the Rams to 3 points in superbowl 53. I'll take a man who can prep an entire defense while playing on the offensive side of the ball over a guy who's going to be on Gilmore Island.

Skylar Carlin wrote "Just last season, Buffalo finished with a 10-6 record, which was second in the AFC East. In addition, they advanced to the postseason for the second time in the past three seasons. Despite the Bills failing to win a playoff game since 1995 — when Kelly was under center — the Hall of Fame quarterback believes Buffalo should sit atop the division in 2020."

One should recall the same quarterback thought Buffalo should win the superbowl back in 1990, 1991, 1992, and 1993. So take Kelly's opinion as what it is. Brian Hoyer has a better chance of having the same success of Trent Dilfer in 2000, than The Bills do of dethroning the Patriots.

Kelly's just mad because it's his fault Norwood was in a position for the kick to be wide, and that Belichick was the defensive coordinator that shutdown Kelly's no huddle K-gun and forced a Thurman Thomas fumble to secure a victory for the New Jersey Giants.
