Dorsett was interviewed by zoom and called playing for the Patriots an error. "I could have come (to Seattle) last year, but I chose to stay in New England, I didn’t want to make that mistake again."
Dorsett never worked in New but was it himself or Brady's trust issues that was the reason for why never developed. Dorsett is going to find himself buried again as the Metcalf and Lockett are Wilson's bread and butter.
Jerry Trotta wrote "It goes without saying that Dorsett flourishes on the deep ball and Wilson just so happens to throw one of the prettiest in the NFL. After averaging 14.8 yards per reception in two seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, the former No. 29 overall pick logged just 13.2 yards per catch across three years in Foxborough."
People know when they put themselves in a bad situation, they learn and they try not to repeat. Not every player that comes to New England has success. Many have found success after they leave, well those who aren't looking to get paid that is. Dorsett probably would've been better suited elsewhere but instead he ended up be interfered with on a deep pass that was one of the many bad calls versus the Chiefs, who were on their way to a tainted superbowl.
