Matthew Stafford puts his home up for sale amid trade rumors.

According to Dave Birkett, Matthew Stafford is selling his Detroit home and has been spending time in California and Georgia.

Now it could be nothing but last year, it was nothing among fans that Brady put his home up for sale as well, while it was a big story to everyone else.

The decision to sell his home maybe something his wife decided. Stafford admits she pays attention more to the rumors and such; she might just be the one who makes financial decisions in the household.

“I really don’t pay too much attention to (the trade rumors), I pay less attention to them than my wife does. But it’s something that doesn’t bother me. Listen, I’m here, I want to be here. I love being a Detroit Lion, I love leading this team. all that kind of stuff is just out there to be out there. It’s a slow news month at that point and I’m just happy to be where I am and ready to deal with this offseason the way that it is and try to make the best of the season that I hope happens.”

There doesn't seem to be much market for starting quarterbacks, so Stafford could play out the 2020 season before being traded.

Another possibility is Matty P and Bill Belichick making a deal that would send the starting quarterback to New England.

Going to Jacksonville as a backup is another possibility. Jacksonville is taking a big chance with Minshew, some security would be nice.

Where ever he goes, someone is going to get some real value if they buy the Stafford home. Especially the way Shane Mickle of Clutch Points describes it.

"According to the home’s listing, Stafford’s home has lakefront property. The 1.27 acres include an indoor basketball court that is made from Detroit Pistons floor when they played on the Pontiac Silverdome. It also includes five fireplaces, a glass elevator, and the largest infinity pool in the state of Michigan."

Maybe Stafford should Wait and sell it to the next Detroit quarterback and make some money of the guy who takes his job. For now, all eyes are on the Lions.
