Eagles’ DeSean Jackson gives interesting alternative if fans are banned from stadiums

Eagles wideout DeSean Jackson wants players to be mic'd during NFL games, if fans cannot be in the stands. The NFL has some players Mic'd and we saw the success of the XFL with extra players also having radios. This idea could be interesting for fans.

“It’s going to get crazy [without fans],” DeSean Jackson said. “I think they should [mic up players]. I think they should give fans insight to see what really goes on in between the white lines. It gets crazy.

“I know in the trenches it gets crazy, and I know on the outside it gets crazy too — the conversations we have going back and forth.”

Marty Fenn of Clutch Points reported that Darnay Tripp's tweet calling for the NBA to adopt XFL strategies."I think it's gonna add a cool element to TV games."

The *Occasional* Bad Word
Former @usdmbb player and coach David Fizdale thinks playing games without fans could make watching the NBA even more interesting.

This could be an interesting part of the game and could draw in fans. However, that may not be enough. The NFL should also promote NFL sunday ticket or put games on PPV for outside team markets areas to allow fans to pay to see teams they normally wouldnt. The PPV might work better as fans can only pay for the games they want. It would be no different than ticket sales.

Regardless of what the NFL decides, it is clear they need to do something to keep ratings up and to make revenue for the 2020 season.
