Patriots not liking the taste of a cheese called Rohrwasser.

In the fifth round of the 2019 NFL draft, with the 159th pick, the Patriots selected Kicker Justin Rohrwasser from Marshall. Rohrwasser was a very accurate kicker from inside the five but past that it started to decline. The only positive was that he had power to kick lower fifty yard kicks.

Thus far Rohrwasser has only kicked once has spent majority of the August practice session on the stationary bike.  His one kicking session, he went 3 of 5 on forty plus yard kicks. The rumor mill has been running rampant about the Patriots possibly bringing back Gostkowski, who is still a free agent.

On Saturday, CBS's Cody Benjamin reported that the team had interest in bringing back a former kicker. Nick Folk is the guy however. It's interesting that the Patriots would rather have Folk but then again Folk isn't coming off Hip Surgery. Expect to see Folk signed within the coming days.

On another note the Patriots signed defensive lineman Williams and tight end Queensberry to the roster. They also released Kilgo and Ellis.
