Jarrett Stidham (Not Cam Newton) Will Start For Patriots, Says Scott Zolak

Members of Patriots Nation crowned Cam Newton the Patriots starter the day he was signed. Having Belichick finally go agaisnt the Patriots way and just handing the former MVP the job without doing a single days work for the organization. With his only thing done to earn the job being that he picked up a pen. In fact some are already calling Cam Newton the GOAT.

Then came former Patriots quarterback Scott Zolak. Zolak has always had ties to the Patriots front office and organization since becoming a broadcaster and Patriots reporter.

Among other things, Zolak reported that Stidham has taken no days off and worked out heavily with pro receivers while in Texas.

Zolak also said, "I believe Jarrett’s gonna be the starter, from the people I’ve talked to,” Zolak said during Tuesday’s “Zolak & Bertrand” episode. “People that I trust, players, people tied to the team, team captains. The way they speak of Jarrett Stidham and the work he has put in.”

There has been a lot of talk from various people in the sports world about why Stidham should start. Rob Ninkovich is probably the most respected among Patriots fans, well at least until he gave his thoughts. We all know what Stidham did in garbage time and in the preseason doesn't matter. 

Dakota Randell of NESN wrote an article on Zolak's comments and said, "Zolak isn’t an NFL “reporter”, per se, but he clearly has connections on the Patriots and his words should not be ignored."

Until Bill makes his final decision, nobody knows what's going to happen with the Patriots.
