Justyn Ross Clemson Scouting Report.

Justyn Ross receiver Clemson stands 6'4" and weights 205 pounds. Ross played 38 games with 158 catches for 2379 yards and 20 touchdowns.

Has the build of an X but plays more like a Z or slot. Limited routes, runs short to intermediate routes well and has played a good amount of time from the slot. He should excell in the quick game. He has big Play potential from screens and other short passes.

Has a habit of focus drops. Ross doesn't get separation down field but gets it in the underneath routes. He uses his size to get yards after the catch.

He has little problems high pointing the ball with his large catch radius. Consted catches aren't an issue. He's also aware enough to know when his quarterback is in trouble. Good blocking, may knock a defender or two on their backside.

Ross's past neck or back surgery may scare off some teams. His health evaluation will be huge. Ross should be a third round selection, with a good combine maybe a second. His NFL comparisons are Marvin Jones, Tee Higgins and Allen Lazard.
