Fake Media And Click Bait, The truth takes a back seat to the dollar.

So I am on YouTube and a video from the homeland defense podcast plays. It's a video from five days ago. It's an eight minute video. In the video, the host says the Patriots refused to meet with an agent, saying they had their quarterback situation figured out or something along those matters. 

There's more to the video but I'm like how have I not heard this. I'm friends with the people over at Dear Patriots Nation and DPN Commentary. If this is true, people are slipping. 

So I go and research this and there's nothing in 2021 saying about an agent talking to the Patriots. The content maker says "the agent claimed the Patriots were going to give Stidham a second chance to claim the Franchise spot." So I looked for that. There's nothing this year saying that.

It doesn't matter whether it's a fanatic podcast like DPN or a connected source like Ian Rapoport, sports media is getting as corrupted as main stream political media. Everything is about the dollar and the truth is slowly getting replaced with propaganda, satire, and opinion to make money. 

It's different when the content creator informs the audience that their show is opinion or satire but when fiction is passed off as fact, even if it's on these shows, it creates misguided people. 

If you don't have time to fact check, than go into anything you read, watch, or listen to with the knowledge that it could be a big steaming pile of mularkey, and don't take it as anything more until you see it for yourself.
