Patriots Draft Results Love It Or Hate It.

The Patriots 2023 Draft is in the books. It looked like the team was building like they were set. However, that was short lived. And although they drafted a kicker and punter, they really didn't Draft for the future. I would say the Patriots drafted to win now. Here's their draft picks.

K Chad Ryland (4)

G Atonio Mafi (5)

WR Kayshon Boutte (6)

P Bryce Baringer (6)

WR Demario Douglas (6)

CB Ameer Speed (6)

CB Isaiah Bolden (7)

Gonzalez give the Patriots a shutdown corner but they failed to get a free safety. Boutte is a high risk high reward Z receiver and Douglas is a typical slot.

The Patriots failed to get a tackle or developmental tight end. And over drafted corner and interior offensive linemen. Unless they drafted one of those guys to play Tackle and another to play Corner, the draft doesn't make a lot of sense.

We'll have to wait and see what moves the Patriots make when the draft finishes but for now, I'd give this draft a B-.
