Izzo performed good even though he wasn't targeted.

Third year tight end and former 2018 fifth round pick Ryan Izzo played in almost every snap, if not every snap during the week one matchup versus Miami.

Their was concern about Izzo's blocking. With the Patriots running for 200 plus yards, it's safe to say Izzo had a decent day blocking.

Ryan Izzo was targeted twice and Asiasi wasn't targeted at all. The Patriots only threw the ball 19 times, which suggests the Patriots weren't throwing to the tight ends by design. Still Izzo had one catch for 25 yards, as he holds on to the tight end one spot.

The Patriots tight ends are expected to be used more as the season advances but there is no guarantee that, that will happen. The Patriots under performed Sunday against the Miami Dolphins and will have to put up a better effort against the Seahawks, if they want to keep it competitive.
