The Patriots Release New Uniforms

On the morning of April 20th, the New England Patriots released new uniforms. Many fans had Hopes for specific uniforms, including myself. Not everyone got what they wanted.

The home jerseys are pretty much what I was hoping for. While I was hoping for a lighter shade of blue, I got the "color rush" concept. My only disappointment is the team kept the silver paint instead of going to the flying elvis on a white helmet.

For the away I was completely disappointed as the uniform looks like the team is biting off the New York Giants. While I was hoping for a color rush white, I didn't get anything I wanted. The uniform would look better with red pants. The Patriots colors are supposed to be what the team represents. 

The Red, White, and Blue, the American Patriot. The team stuck with blue bottoms, and again went with the silver flying elvis. For the away helmets, I wanted the old Patriots Pat logo on a modern white helmet. I guess there is some rule that they cannot use two helmets. It's BS. Here is the away uniform.

Love them or hate them, the Patriots are going to look different from here on out. Not only is Tom gone, but so are his jerseys. As we usher in a new era, we'll have quite a bit to get used to. Patriots Nation, how do we feel?
